Cody Caudle

Owner/ Funeral Director

Cody is the sole owner of Ponder and Shelby Funeral Homes.

He is an Oran, Missouri native and comes to us with over ten years of service to this community working for Sikeston Department of Public Safety and the Scott County Sheriffs Office. He is a member of the Sikeston ELKS lodge, and the Sikeston Lions Club.

Cody has been married to his wife Paige Rampley-Caudle for ten years. He has three children, a little girl and two little boys.

Cody is a licensed Funeral Director and Preneed Agent in the State of Missouri.

Pam Knuckles

Office Manager/Funeral Director/Preneed Counselor

Pam Knuckles has worked for Ponder Funeral Home since 1989. She received her Funeral Directors license in 2001. She and her husband, Vernon, have lived in Sikeston since 1977. They have two grown children and four grandsons.

Pam continues to serve the community around us as the General Manager of Southern Funeral Services as well as a Funeral Director at both Sikeston and East Prairie. She is active in our local community, a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston; the Sikeston Elks Lodge #2319 where she is a Past Exalted Ruler and currently an officer; a member of Order of the Eastern Star where she is currently an officer; and a member of the Sikeston Henry Meldrum Post 114 Ladies Auxiliary.

Pam is vital to the daily operations of both our locations, and we are honored to have her here with the Southern Family.

Pam Fox

Administrative Assistant and Preneed Counselor

Pam joined our team in November of 2016. She is a licensed preneed agent who can help make pre-arrangements for a funeral service. Pam is also the Administrative Assistant for the Shelby Funeral Home. Pam is a resident of Sikeston and has one son, Ryan Fox, DVM. Ryan is a 2011 graduate of the Sikeston High School as well as a 2018 Graduate of the University of Missouri's Veterinary Medicine program. He resides in Columbia, MO where he practices as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Pam is vital to the operations of the Shelby Funeral Home and we are glad to have her as a part of our family.
