William Taylor, age 85, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Aspire Living Center in East Prairie, Missouri.

William was born July 19, 1936, in Wolf Island, MO., to the late Cecil Taylor and Rosie Burns Taylor. On February 19,1954 in Anniston, MO., he married NoveLene Clifft Taylor who preceded him in death.

He spent his lifetime as a Farmer and was a lifelong member of The First Baptist Church of East Prairie and the MFA Oil Company.

He is survived by his daughter Sherri Taylor; one grandson Justin (Amber) Harper of East Prairie; one great granddaughter Emmalea Taylor Harper of East Prairie, MO; one nephew Dennis (Angie) Allen of Wickliffe, KY.; a special friend Polly Parham of East Prairie, MO.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister Elizabeth Tinnon.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where the funeral service will be Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. George White officiating.

Interment will follow immediately at the Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood, MO under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie.

Pallbearers will be Dwight White, Tommy Nolen, Lester Moore, Mickey Lay, Rick Givens, Joe Helms.
