Wesley Aaron Jones, age 61, passed away August 23, 2026 at Delta South Nursing Care Center in Sikeston, MO.

He was born April 24, 1965 in Sikeston, MO, son of the late Glenn Robert Jones and Bonita Claire Baugher-Jones.

Wesley was a baptized member of Miner Baptist Church and had worked for Rayburn Evans Glass, Lambert's Café, Sikeston Public Schools, and Cole Shuttle Servie. He enjoyed shooting pool with his brothers and friends, arrowhead hunting, rock collecting, hunting, and fishing. He was a social person.

On July 31, 1988 he was married to Wendy Payne-Jones, she survives of their home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include three daughters, Angelisa Renae Jones of Miner, MO, Jessica Dawn Jones of Sikeston, MO, and Amy Withrow of Dexter, MO; one brother, Jimmy (Vangie) Jones of Sikeston, MO; three sisters, Brenda Williams, Sandra (Jimmy) Wills, and Iva (Eddie) Massey all of Sikeston, MO; and his grandchildren, Armani Aaron Jones, Brandon Wright Jr., Kimyla Jones, Kyleaha Jones, Zoey Taylor, Rakiyah Taylor, Jaxon Sconce, and Lillian Sconce.

In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Jones and Donald Jones; and two sisters, Sharon Lands and Lisa Jones.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at Miner Baptist Church on Saturday, August 29, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Scott Sutton and Dawson Sutton will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers Gary Smith, Mike Ray, Deric Tripp, Rickey Taylor, Rickey Taylor Jr. and Andy Jones.
