Wanda Jean Carlyle, age 82, of East Prairie, Missouri passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born June 19, 1939, in Cairo, Illinois to the late Herman Coffer and Anna Smith Coffer, and was retired from MO Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri, where she had been employed in food service.

She was married to Harold Junior Carlyle, who preceded her in death July 23, 2021.

Wanda is survived by two sons, Steve (Tami) Carlyle of Sikeston, Missouri, and Rodney (Carla) Carlyle of Scott City, Missouri; one daughter, Beverly (Eric) Cole of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and three sisters, Norma Jean Carlyle of Charleston, Francis (Morris) McCutchen of East Prairie and Mildred Appleton of Arizona.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Coffer; one sister, Virginia Coffer; and two stepsisters, Ruby Shulte and Helen Carlyle.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. David Dowdy officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cody Carlyle, Zach Carlyle, Freddie Thomas, Theresa Wright, Matt Carlyle and Josh Carlyle.
