Vina "Vickie" Swallows, age 72, passed away Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at her home in Sikeston, Missouri surrounded by family. She was born January 12th, 1950 in Sikeston to the late Burley Flanigan and Ruby Russell Flanigan.

Vickie was a long-time member of the Sikeston Eagles along with her husband Ben Swallows who survives of the home. She was a member of the ladies Auxiliary and worked bingo at the Eagles for many years. She was also an integral part of obtaining donations for the Kenney Rodgers Center in Sikeston from the Sikeston Eagles.

Vickie is also survived by sons, Charlie (Annette) Burton, Chris (Tresea) Swallows, and Steve Swallows; one sister, Carol Cook of Festus, MO; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, four brothers, Lloyd Flanigan, Wayne Flanigan, Doug Flanigan, and Harold Flanigan; three sisters, Louise Scism, Hazel Matheney Green, and Janey Parks.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 10th, 2022 from 1 pm to 3pm at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
