Tony Emmett Russell II, age 51, of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away on April 10, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Sikeston, Missouri on August 9, 1972, to  Tony Emmett Russell I and Antonia Faye Bennett.

He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, and traveling. Spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Aerial, was very important to him. He was known for wanting to make people laugh, usually by aggravating his daughters and family.

Survivors include a significant other April Farquhar; two daughters, Kris LeAnn Russell of East Prairie, Missouri and Savanah Dawn (Bruce Simmons) Russell of East Prairie, Missouri; one sister Christy (Keith) Grigsby of East Prairie, Missouri; one granddaughter Aerial Russell; one niece Brittany (Andrew) Goerlitz of Marion, Illinois ; one nephew Josh (Jennifer Dodds) Grigsby of Chaffee, Missouri; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his father Tony Emmett Russell I.

A memorial service will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at East Prairie Memorial Cemetery .
