Tommy Hayes, aged 56, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at his home in Sikeston, MO. Born on May 8, 1970, in Flint, MI, Tommie was the beloved son of the late Albert and Virgie Neldon-Hayes.

Throughout his life, Tommie was dedicated to his work as a tow truck driver. He had an enduring passion for motorcycles, painting, and mechanics, always eager to rebuild and collect various items. His love for his children and grandchildren was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He leaves behind his cherished partner of nine years, Mellissa Morris; his sons, Devon (Alatna) Reeves and Austin (Jeannie) Reeves; his brother, John Hayes; sisters, Carla Tarver and Joyce Ann Wooten; and seven grandchildren: Neveah, Clinton, Khaleesi, Bella, Destiny, Hero, and Jupiter. Tommie is also fondly remembered by his nephew, Lance Patrick, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Tyler Hayes, and siblings Jim, Jerry, Charles "Chuck," Judy, and June Hayes.

A celebration of his life will take place at Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston, MO, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Caudle Funeral Home.
