LILBOURN, MO - Timothy Dean Dambach, age 59, passed away January 7, 2026 at his home in Lilbourn, MO.
He was born January 26, 1966 in Cape Girardeau, MO, son of Betty Joyce Simpson-Dambach of Lilbourn, MO and the late James Paul Dambach.
A 1988 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, he owned and operated Dambach Insurance. He was a dedicated member for many years of Lilbourn United Methodist Church, Lilbourn Kiwanis, Lilbourn Volunteer Fire Department, and a School Board Member on the New Madrid County R-1 Board of Education 2011-2014. He played trumpet in the Southeast Missouri State University Golden Eagles Band and was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, beekeeping, riding ATV's, cooking, botany, grilling, eating good food, and spending time with and taking care of his family.
He was married to Loretta Maynard-Dambach, she survives of the home in Lilbourn, MO.
In addition to his wife and mother, Timothy is survived by two sons, Caleb (Courtney) Hatton of East Prairie, MO and Ben Dambach of Occidental, CA; two daughters, Madalyn (Nelson) Mwangi of Nashville, TN and Chloe (Eric) Bumpus of Malden, MO; two brothers, Mike (Kim) Dambach and Grant (Susan) Dambach both of St. Louis, MO; and six grandchildren, Ella Hatton, Clara Hatton, Andie Hatton, Hunter Bumpus, Henley Bumpus, and Heidi Bumpus.
He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Natalie Dambach.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lilbourn. Travis Lambert will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn, MO under the direction of Ponder Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ben Dambach, Adam Dambach, Greg Dambach, Jonathan Patton, Louis Mark Patton, Scott Riley, and Brett Gravlin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Stevens, Tim Rausch, Dale Ray, Sam Griffin, Kenny Joe Schaffer, Dub Prince, Timmy Campbell, and Donna McClarty.
