Timothy Dean Baker, age 63, a resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Jackson Manor in Jackson, Missouri.

He was born November 8, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Homer Lee Baker, Sr. and Mildred May Mills Baker.

Timothy loved art and was very talented in the areas of woodworking and carpentry.  He was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Kelly Baker of East Prairie; one daughter, Debora Smith (Travis) of Dexter, Missouri; three brothers, Homer Baker, Jr. (Julia) of East Prairie, Brian Hobble of Aberdeen, Washington, and Edward Eugene Cross of Daytona Beach, Florida; two sisters, Theresa Ward of Idaho, and Mary Linhart of Wyatt, Missouri.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by one brother, Barry Eugene Baker.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Power House of God Church in East Prairie, with Bro. Jimmy Allen, pastor, officiating.
