Thomas Edward McGuire, age 57, passed away June 5, 2024 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

He was born November 25, 1966 in Modesto, CA, son of the late James McGuire and Susan Melton-McGuire.

Thomas was member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and had been a truck driver for Modesto-Tallow and was a member of the Teamsters Union.  He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, rodeos, and when he was younger, bull riding and dirt track racing. He was an outdoorsman, loved fishing, hunting, camping. He was devoted to his family: his family was his life.

On June 22, 1989 he was married to Rose Ann Caster-McGuire, she survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

Other survivors include five children, Michael Lathrop of Texas, Timothy McGuire of Miner, MO, Rebecca McGuire of Sikeston, MO, Jewel (Dallas) Monroe of Bloomfield, MO, and Christina McGuire of Sikeston, MO; three sisters, Tamara Bradshaw of Montana, Tina Lee and Nina Lee both of California; 11 grandchildren; and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded by one brother, Timothy McGuire; and two sisters, Dina Lee and Gina Lee.

There will be a graveside service at Bluff Ellis Cemetery near Bloomfield, MO, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11 am.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Monroe, Timmy McGuire, Josh Vanvickle, and Bruce Cochran.
