Theresa Polk Chatman, age 48, of Sikeston, MO passed away May 23, 2025 at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born December 8, 1976 in Hayti, MO, daughter of Lance Cushenberry and Felecia Brown. Theresa accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.
Theresa loved traveling and seeing new places, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She married Robert Chatman on July 8, 2022 in Greenville, MO. He survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, parents, and stepmother, Ruthie Cushenberry,  Theresa is survived by three sons, Lenntrelle Moore, Jermany Moore, and Lenn Lee Moore; two daughters, Dyamon Henderson and Luxshory Moore all of Sikeston, MO; two brothers, Harvey Pegues of Kansas City, MO and Demarcus Pegues of Sikeston, MO; four sisters, Tenecia Polk of Sikeston, MO, Trisha (William) Austin of Howardville, MO, Dabrina Cushenberry and Breanna (Jessie) Johnson both of Fort Wayne, IN; and six grandchildren, Princeton Henderson, Avah Moore, Khingston Jacobs, Nehlani Moore,
Percival Henderson, and Rhylenn Jacobs.

There will be a memorial service held Saturday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO.
