Susan Ann Delana, age 67, of New Madrid County, passed away Sunday November 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born March 5, 1956, in Sikeston, MO to the late William Edward Arthur and Lotha Fay Vaught Arthur.

Susan married Frank Delana in Benton, MO, February 19, 1999, who survives of the home.

Susan worked for National Lock and then Brown Shoe Company for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, cooking, playing cards, and going to the beach. She loved spending time with her family. She was described by her family as the Matriarch, the one who cared for all of them.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Derrick Shipp of Sikeston, and three sisters, Brenda Allen of Sikeston, Karen Richardson of Sikeston, and Sharon Bonner of Sikeston; and one sister-in-law, Denise Arthur.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Larry Arthur.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 18th, at the First Baptist Church in Morehouse, Missouri, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.
