Stanley Lee Davidson, age 77 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Aspire Nursing Center in East Prairie.  He was born April 9, 1944, in East Prairie to the late Lubie Davidson and Manie Davis Davidson and was a farmer.  He loved telling jokes and was a talented singer.

On February 22, 2000, in Hickman, KY he married Cindy Kearby Davidson, who survives of the home.

Stanley is also survived by one son, Albert Smith of East Prairie; a special grandson, Austin Smith of Catron, MO, who was raised as a son; a special granddaughter, Kirsten Hampton of Sikeston, MO, who was raised as a daughter; five daughters, Connie Jackson of Pekin, IL, Joyce Ann Sanchez of Pekin, IL, Misty Davidson of South Carolina, Rachel Hrabal of Florissant, MO and Christi Smith of Sikeston, MO; three sisters, Carrie "Lucille" Scott of Mt. Morris, MI, Judy Lewis of East Prairie and Teresa Brawner of Sikeston, MO; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Davidson; five brothers, George A. Davidson, Willie Joe Davidson, Charles E. Davidson, Phillip "Dale" Davidson and Paul Gene Davidson; and four sisters, Betty Catherine Davidson, Beatrice Davidson, Betty Lou Davidson and Freda Joyce Davidson.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 3 – 5 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Interment will be private.
