Stanley Cothran Curtis, age 69, passed away April 28, 2024 at Mercy-Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born August 3, 1954 in Sikeston, MO, son of the late Wallace Curtis and Mammie Louise Cothran Curtis.

On July 3, 1979 he was married to Evelyn Gilliam Curtis, she survives of the home in Matthews, MO.

Stanley had been a concrete worker, having owned Stanley Curtis Concrete most of his life before retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Sam Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold Richard Curtis and John Alvin Curtis.

There will be graveside services held Wednesday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Matthews City Cemetery under the direction of Ponder Funeral Home.
