Sondra K. Arms, age 71, passed away April 13, 2021 at her home in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born November 10, 1949 in Sikeston, daughter of the late Louis and Grace Hampton Stephens.

Sondra was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and was very active in community service to veterans. She had worked for T5 Tech in Phoenix, Arizona before retiring.

On February 11, 1966 in Sikeston, she was married to Rodger Arms; he survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include one son, Shawn Arms of Glendale, Arizona; one brother, Donald Stephens of Phoenix, Arizona; and one sister, Karen and her husband Maurice Huey of Sikeston.

There will be a reception for family and friends held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will be at a later date in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.
