Vanduser, Mo- Shirley Sue Casey, age 78, of Vanduser, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston.

She was born October 18, 1943, in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Roy and Myrtle (Burks) Jackson.  She was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Columbia Sportswear before retiring.  On November 13, 1961, in Grant City, Missouri she married Roger Casey who survives of the home in Vanduser.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Larry (Sheryl) Casey of Sikeston, Kenny Casey of Spring, Texas, and Roger (Gennell) Casey of Morley; two daughters Peggy (David) Propst of Cape Girardeau, and Melissa (Ron) Blair of Sault Saint Marie, Michigan; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother William "Bill" Jackson and two infant brothers.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow immediately at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Blair, Presley Propst, Jackson Casey, Reece Taylor, Casey Blair, and Daeton Taylor.
