Shirley Mae Brown, age 84 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie, MO.  She was born January 25, 1937 in East Prairie to the late Arthur Owens and Erma Wamble Owens.  She was a homemaker and of Pentecostal faith.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Saville of Elgin, SC and Betty (Chad) Christensen of Reno, NV; one son-in-law, Tony Mather of Las Vegas, NV; and three grandchildren, Sean Saville of South Carolina, Cody Christensen and Jason Christensen, both of Nevada.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Brown Mather; four brothers, Archie Owens, Jackie Owens, Billy Owens and Roger Owens; and three sisters, Vivian Christian, Norma Ricks and Patsy Sandefur.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Shelby Chapel.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
