Shelia Joann Mitchell, age 62, passed away September 9, 2024 at her home in Benton, MO.

She was born November 12, 1961 in Dallas, TX, daughter of the late John Jackson Mitchell and Jaqueline Holder.

Shelia loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to 90's country music and dancing.  She had a kind, loving heart. She was a giving person and loved animals.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonia Galloway of Jackson, MO and Amanda Murray of Cape Girardeau, MO; one son, Patrick Kerperien of Benton, MO; one brother, Terry Mitchell of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Gail Johnson of Chesterfield, MO and Kathy Palmer of Brazil, IN; seven grandchildren, Raymond Galloway Jr., Nathan Galloway, Jackson Murray, Traci Galloway, Rylan Murray, Cloey Murray, and Gabriella Murray; and her longtime fiancee, Danny Denton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Jackson Mitchell; and two sisters, Marlyn Deaton and Carol Hodge.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
