Obituary

Sheila Ann Savage (Lewis), 57 of Rossford, Ohio passed peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on August 15, 2021. She had battled brain cancer for the past ten years. Sheila is a native of Morley and Sikeston Missouri where she attended Scott County Central but graduated from Sikeston High School in 1983. She also graduated from Sikeston School of Cosmetology. Sheila was a devoted member of Smith Street Church of God where she was a Sunday school teacher, play director and she helped with youth outings. Sheila was the type that would sit with the sick no matter how long she was needed. She has served as a foster mother to many boys. And the one thing her family is thankful for is she and her husband hosted family Sunday dinners every week. We are certain she heard" Well done my good and faithful servant" when she entered Heaven. Sheila was born November 17, 1963, to James A. Lewis SR. And Mary Lou Freeman (King) who have both preceded her in death. She is survived of the home by her husband Kenneth Savage and one son Zachary McCormick, three daughters from Sikeston Tiffany (Randy) Smith, Brooke (Kenny) Western, and Kendra Savage. Two sisters of Rossford Ohio Debbie (John) Head and Kimberly (Jamey) Merritt. One Brother of Sikeston James (Amy) Lewis Jr, one stepmother of Sikeston Carol Maxwell King, many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and most definitely a lot of friends. She had seven grandchildren, Sean, Preston, Caden, Ezra, Titus, Brooklynn, and Jacob. The family would like to give special thanks to Tabatha Lessage for her great care for Sheila. Visitation will be held Saturday August 21, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted Sunday August 22, 2021, at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers are Jamey Merritt, CJ Merritt, Zach McCormick, James Lewis, Randy Smith, Kenny Western.
