Sharon "Joan" Nanney, age 75, passed away February 5, 2024 at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.

She was born July 21, 1948 in Sikeston, MO, daughter of the late Buck Roberson and Thelma Sheldon Roberson.

She was an Assistant Manager at Food Giant for over 20 years before retiring.  She was an amazing cook and was famous for her pork egg rolls.

She is survived by three sons, David Jordan of DeSoto, MO, Keith (Carolyn) Jordan of DeSoto, MO, and Lawrence Dering of Jefferson City, MO; one daughter, Darla Laminack of Morehouse, MO; two brothers, Charles Roberson of Alexandria, VA and Jimmy Roberson of Austin, TX; one sister, Shelba Ford of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Anette Moore.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, from 12:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.  The Rev. Scott Sutton will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.
