Ryan Keith Cooper, age 46, died Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home in East Prairie, with his family near at his side.

Born January 9, 1980, at Red Bay, AL, the son of Jackie Dale Cooper and Patricia Dianne Nichols Cooper of Fulton, MS, he grew up in the Dennis, MS area and was a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School and went on to attend Itawamba Community College. He was most recently employed with JJK Vacuum Sales and Repair in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a member of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he was a family man who loved his wife and daughter.

On August 28, 2009, he married Rebecca Diane Winchester Cooper, who survives of the home.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his precious daughter, Esme, of the home; his sister, Kerri Dianne Cooper; his nephews, Canaan, Isaac, Trent and niece, Devani; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Alleen Norris Nichols; also, several cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry Waldo Nichols and his paternal grandparents, John and Ruth Higginbottom Cooper.

Private family services will be held.
