Rosa Ditto, 94, passed away at her home in East Prairie, Missouri on May 9, 2026.

Rosa was born on September 16, 1931 to the late Harvey Loomis and Addi Cogdill Loomis. She was a lifelong resident of East Prairie.

Rosa spent most of her career as a CNA, working primarily at the nursing home in Charleston, Missouri. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by two sons, Teddy Wayne (Mary) Ditto and Danny Ditto; three daughters, Shirley Ann Grisso (Kenneth Grisso), Debra Minehart, and Cynthia Massey; thirteen grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.

Rosa was preceded in death by three sons, Bobby Jean Ditto, James Lynn Stone, and Jackie Edmund (Karen) Ditto, and a stepfather, Isaac Newton Douglas.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Stanley Triplett officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the funeral at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Holman, Merle Stone, JW Minehart, Connie Morgan, Charles Perry, and Jeffery Massey.
