Ronald Franklin Davis of Sikeston, MO, passed away April 13, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Born April 6, 1944 in Parma, MO to Lester Davis and Cynthia Chadwell Davis.

Ron spent his life in the La Forge and Sikeston area. He was employed with the Sikeston Power Plant as a Coalyard Supervisor until his retirement.

He served his country in the Army in 1965-1967.

On April 16, 1999, he married Janie Huffstutler who survives of the home.

Ron was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He enjoyed fishing and especially following the Cardinal baseball games.

Ron is survived by his son, Jeff Davis of Sikeston, Mo; step children, Denise, Shelly, Brad/Leslie Kenedy, Adrianne Kenedy, Stephanie Agan; grandchildren, Harley, Jaidyn, Peyton, Patrick, Ruger, Jase, August, and Evan; brother, Billie/Donna Davis; and sisters, Mary Ann Hunter (Henry) and Donna Wages.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Davis and Kenny Davis; and one step grandchild, Landon Johnson.
