Ron Davis, age 78, passed away January 14, 2022 at Missouri Delta Medical Center Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born September 3, 1943 in Lilbourn, Missouri, son of the late Andrew Davis and Myrle (Sullenger) Davis. He retired from Noranda in 2000 after working for there for over 30 years.

Ron was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs, and Tiger Woods. He also enjoyed playing Golf with friends. He was a long time member of the Sikeston Country Club, and played many rounds at Crowley Ridge Recreation Center in Bloomfield, Missouri.

He is survived by one daughter, Ashley (Jacob) Goodin of Bloomfield, Missouri; two brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Davis of Sikeston, Missouri; and Terry (Marrietta) Davis of South Haven, Michigan; and seven grandchildren, Sam Goodin, and Finley Goodin of Bloomfield, Missouri; Colton Davis, Taylor Davis, Dalton Davis, Barrett Davis, and Logan Garner of Sikeston, Missouri. Ron's grandchildren were his whole world. He also is survived by his longtime loving partner and fiancé, Phyllis Ward of Sikeston, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one son, Todd Davis.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.
