Roger Dale Carden, age 68, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his home in East Prairie, Missouri.  He was born December 31, 1953, in Wyatt, Missouri to Billie Doris Saunders Carden of Mayfield, Kentucky and the late Winston Carden.  He  had been employed as a mechanic for Blumenburg's Station in East Prairie, retiring after 38 years of service. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Richard Dale Carden of East Prairie; one daughter, Bethany and Jack Vanpool, Jr. of East Prairie; three brothers, Wayne Carden of Eclectic, Alabama, John and Cathy Carden of Sikeston, Missouri and Donald Carden of Notasulsa, Alabama; and one sister, Anita and Gary Blasingim of Mayfield, Kentucky.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two special caregivers, Tuesday Achter and Scott Gammons; along with many relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Nova Tucker; one brother, Michael Carden; and two sisters, Linda Tylicki and Gloria Macon.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Powerhouse of God Church in East Prairie, with Pastor Jimmy Allen officiating.
