Rodney Lee Phillips, age 65, passed away July 24, 2025, in Chaffee, MO.

He was born May 11, 1960 in Elgin, Illinois to Sherman Vick and Katherine Nadine Bacchus Phillips.

Rodney had a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren. His craftsmanship was commendable; his paintings were so lifelike that one felt as if they could reach out and touch them. He also greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children.

Including his mother Katherine Phillips, Rodney is survived by, two sons, Brent (Rachel) Phillips and Brandon (Denae) Phillips; two daughters, Bethany (Billy) Kirkpatrick and Chelsea (Shawn) Kilburn; and ten grandchildren, Wren, Kyla, Cash, Colt, Lacey, Luke, Chrislynn, Kimber, Colton, and Gunner.

In addition to his father, Sherman Phillips, Rodney was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Rick Phillips; and one sister, Melissa Pobst.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Oran Baptist Church.

An inurnment will be held at a later date.
