Rodney Dean Maddox, age 72, passed away September 13, 2025 at his home in Benton, MO.

He was born January 5, 1953 in Poplar Bluff, MO, son of the late Bobby Maddox and Mary Hubbart-Roark.

Rodney was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had been a self-employed construction worker before retiring. He belonged to many veteran organizations, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he liked horses-especially riding horses.

On December 24, 1976 Rodney was married to Bertha Tomlin-Maddox, she survives of the home.

Other survivors include one daughter, Amie Koch of Benton, MO; and one grandchild, Ethan Williamson of Benton, MO.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Marty Maddox.
