Robie Jay McElhaney, age 62 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home.  He was born August 3, 1960 in Delaplaine, Arkansas to the late Jesse Carl McElhaney and Sadie Ora Merideth McElhaney.  He had been employed by G & H Furnishings in Charleston, Missouri.  Robie was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Prairie.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was married to Melody Davidson McElhaney, who preceded him in death.

Additional survivors include seven brothers, Gene (Peggy) McElhaney of Neelyville, Missouri, Charles McElhaney of East Prairie, J.P. (Sharon) McElhaney of Harviell, Missouri, Joe McElhaney of Kennett, Missouri, Johnny (Jackie) McElhaney of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Dennis McElhaney of Harviell and Roger (Cindy) McElhaney of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Peggy Green of Harviell and Alice McClain of Hornersville, Missouri; along with several nieces and nephews.

Robie was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and three brothers, Paul McElhaney, Jesse McElhaney and Mack McElhaney.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Steve Johnson, pastor of Victory Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
