Robert Kelly, age 90, passed away on July 1, 2026 at Delta South Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.

Born on March 14, 1936 in the state of Illinois, he is the son of the late Roy Kelly and Vera Gray-Kelly.

Robert was a member of First United Methodist Church and had worked as a Chemist for the New Madrid Power Plant before retiring.

On March 10, 1956, he was married to Shirley Edgar-Kelly. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2024.

Survivors include two sons, Rick (Doris) Kelly of Ridgecrest, CA and Larry (Rita) Kelly of Sikeston, MO; one daughter, Linda Boling of Monroe, MI; four grandchildren, Garrett Kelly, Wesley Kelly, Stephanie Boling, and Dani Poore; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Kelly and Bill; one sister, Katie; one son-in-law, Gene Boling: and three step-grandchildren, Ron Green, Robert Green, and Rose Green.

Caudle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, there will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
