Robert Eugene Burnett, age 64, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

He was born September 27, 1957, in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Charles Ray Burnett and Emily June Burnett.

Robert was an avid racing fan who also had a love for baseball and music.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter, Jeffery Ray (Brenna) Burnett of Sikeston, MO, Jeremy Ryan (Elizabeth) Burnett of Sikeston, MO and Rachel (Bobby) Newton of Benton, MO.; two sisters, Rachel Sue (Wayne) Noe of Sikeston, MO and, Mary Burnett Fish of Sikeston, MO.; one brother Michael (Denise) Burnett of Martinsburg, WV; eight grandchildren, Jordan Burnett, Alaina Burnett, Mallory Burnett, Landen Burnett, Ethan Burnett, Kaiden Burnett, Kinsley Newton, and Stetson Newton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Gracie June Newton.

A visitation will be held January 3, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
