Ricky Lee Amick, age 66, passed away January 26, 2026, at his home in East Prairie, MO. He was born December 28, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Charles Robinson and Mary Ann Curtain Robinson and was employed in construction for over 15 years. He was a member of St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie. His hobbies included landscaping, hunting, fishing, and just about any outdoor activity.
Ricky was married to Mary Melissa Renfro-Amick, and they would have celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary this June. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include his sons, Rodney Renfro of Ellsinore, MO and Timothy Rock of Pocahontas, AR; his daughter, Pamela Dean (Jimmy) of Oran, MO; one brother, Art Robinson (Rena) of Anniston, MO; one sister, Adele Ulmer of Sikeston, MO; along with five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters in law, Ronnie Ulmer of East Prairie, MO, Barbara Amick of Gosnell, AR, Lynn and Timmy Doles of Oran, MO, Billy and Ann Renfro of Amory, MS, and Rodney L. Renfro of Sikeston, MO.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Joe Amick; and two brothers, Ronald "Ronnie" Amick and Jackie Robinson.
A celebration of Ricky's life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
