Reva Elizabeth Parker, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at her home in East Prairie, MO.

She was born on March 4, 1930, in Ridgley, TN to the late Robert Everett and Bertha May Hardin Brooks.

Reva had spent most of her life in the Mississippi County area where she was a press operator for the Perry Manufacturing Company until her retirement. She was also a member of the St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

She married Ernest Paul Parker who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Richard (Sherry) Parker of East Prairie, MO; one sister, Laverne Pritchett of East Prairie, MO; grandchildren Brent Mayabb (Julie) of Fenton, MO, Trevin Mayabb (Fallan) of Fruitland, MO, Tammy Schneider (Joe) of East Prairie, MO; great grandchildren Benedict and Caroline Mayabb; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Paulette Mayabb Parr; one sister, and two brothers.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood, MO.

Pallbearers will be Brent Mayabb, Trevin Mayabb, Joe Schnieder, Tommy Loomis, Raymond Ellis, and Bill Brooks.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, MO is in charge of arrangements.
