Regina Sue Weakley, age 72 of East Prairie, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Aspire Nursing Center in East Prairie.  She was born November 16, 1950, in Wyatt, Missouri to the late Charles "Roy" Nunn and Daisy Marshall Allen Nunn.  Regina was a homemaker.  She and her husband Jerry were foster parents for many years.  Although they had no children, they loved and raised Pam Krauss as their own.  Regina was known as "momma" to many in the community.  She also enjoyed caring for her cats.

On December 17, 1980, she married Jerry Lee Weakley; he preceded her in death June 8, 1999.

Survivors include three brothers, Gary Nunn of East Prairie, Glen (Alma) Nunn of Murray, Kentucky and Greg Nunn of East Prairie; three sisters, Renissa (Larry) Bowles of Charleston, Missouri, Betsy (James) Bailey of East Prairie and Sandy (Jim Bob) Newsome of Crawfordsville, Arkansas; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be private at Regina's request.
