Raymond "Ronnie" Orr, age 71, passed away November 19, 2021 at his home in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born December 18, 1949 in Dyess, Arkansas, son of the late Edwin Orr and Beatrice Brasfield Orr.

Ronnie was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War; he was a 23 ^rd degree Mason of the Morehouse Masonic Lodge; and had worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation before retiring.

He was married to Jana Hopkins Orr, his wife of 49 years, she survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Day of Sikeston and Elizabeth Skinner of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, Jim Orr of Eldon, Missouri; three sisters, Carole (Jack) Cobb of Eldon, Barbara Orr of Dallas, Texas, and Peggy Starr of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Lane, Rilee Moore, Reagann Moore, and Kaelyn Burmeister; and two great-grandchildren, Braedyn Lane and Natalie Lane.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Randy Conn will officiate.

Interment services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.
