Paul Steven Norwood, age 69, passed away October 6, 2024 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

He was born November 17, 1954 in Hayti, MO, son of the late Edward Oliver Norwood and Syble Eulane Porter Norwood.

Paul enjoyed playing the drums, he loved motorcycles and Star Trek, but at the top of his list was Jesus. He had a sense of humor, he loved to make people laugh. He was a jokester and had no limits to making others laugh.

He is survived by one daughter, Chasity (Anthony) Richey; three brothers, Kenneth, Dewyer, andJames; four sisters, Joy Bell, Wanda, Linda, and Teresa; four grandchildren, Dranetta, Lily, Elijah, and Isabella; and four great-grandchildren, Eddie, Casey, Andrea, and Xander.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Steven Norwood II and Joshua James Norwood; one daughter, Pearly Drunetta Norwood; four brothers, Donald, Irvin, Ronnie, and Ricky; and one sister, Louise.

Celebration of life will be October 9th at 5 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO
