Patsy Jane Bridges, age 86, passed away March 31, 2024 at her home in Sikeston, MO.

She was born April 2, 1937 in Clarksville, AR, daughter of the late Baxter Lee Bridges and Velma Mae White-Bridges.

Patsy worked as a secretary for Fitzgerald Accounting before retiring. She loved going to her second home on the Van Buren River. She was the best auntie and sister ever! She was very loved, stubborn, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Bridges and Glenda Bridges both of Sikeston, MO; nieces, Karen (Mark) Turner of Benton, MO and Vanessa (David) Stenstrom of New York, NY; nephew, Mark (Molly) Bridges of San Francisco, CA; great-nieces, Krista (Justin) Morton, Ashley Taylor, Chloe Bridges, and Phoebe Bridges; great-nephew, Luke Bridges; great-great- niece, Isabella Taylor; and great-great-nephews, Toby Morton and Lucas Morton.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by one brother, Tommie Bridges; and one sister, Barbara Love.

There will be graveside services held Wednesday, April 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Because of her great love of animals the family requests memorials be made to Sikeston Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
