Patricia Miller, age 71, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau Missouri

She was born on June 6, 1951, in Peach Orchard, MO, to the late Laverne and Velma Hatton.  On December 8, 1972, she married the love of her life SP4 James Miller Sr. who preceded her in death on February 22, 2022.  They had been married 49 years.  Patricia had worked as a nurse before retiring.

She is survived by one daughter, Tawana (Jordan), of Benton; four sons, Tony (Renee) Miller of Festus, Charles (Paula) Reed of Blodgett, Gregory Miller of Fairfield, and James (Kristen) Miller Jr. of Benton; two brothers, Robert Hatton of Ava, and Billy Hatton of Campbell; Three sisters, Nadine Wilkerson of Clarkton, Bettyu Lundquist of Fairfield, IA, and Sue Harris of Fairfield, IA; nine grandchildren, Jeremiah (Sydney) Bain, Jason Bain, Tony Miller Jr., Abigail Miller, Peyton Miller, River Miller, Aven Miller Keagan Miller and Rowan Miller; several nieces and nephews, one great grandson and just learned of her first great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister Doris Mikel and three brothers Donald Hatton, William Hatton, and Larry Hatton.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Bro. Dennis Lowe Officiating.

Interment will follow immediately at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri under the direction of Ponder Funeral Home.
