Nina Marie Spurgeon, age 85 of East Prairie, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at East Prairie Nursing Center.  She was born March 31, 1938, in Carberry Ridge, Illinois to the late A.D. Woods and Matilda Trousdale Woods.  She was employed at National Lock in Sikeston for several years until the time of its closing.  Nina enjoyed quilting with her friends from East Prairie Nutrition Center and she loved her poodle dogs.  She was of Christian belief.

Survivors include one brother, Steve Feagans of Bragg City, Missouri and one sister, Nellie Triplett of East Prairie, Missouri.

Nina was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Williamson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. at First Church of God in East Prairie, with Pastor Dawn Walters officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
