Nada Michelle Scruggs, age 76 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Delta South Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.  She was born June 30, 1949, in Cairo, IL, to the late Billy Mac Reeves and Billy Jean LeVan Reeves.  Nada was employed by the Missouri Division of Social Services as a supervisor for both Mississippi and New Madrid Counties until her retirement, following many years of devoted service.

On August 1, 1969, in East Prairie, MO, she married Danny Scruggs, who preceded her in death May 20, 2018.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Johnny Henderson of East Prairie, MO; two grandchildren, Jordan (Kierstyn) Henderson and Nolen Henderson; and two great grandchildren, Jagger Henderson and River Kate Henderson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nada was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Melissa Simmons.

Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. until time of funeral services at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Lloyd Smith officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Nolen Henderson, Jamey Scruggs, Toby Scruggs, and Fred Warnhoff.
