Myra Jane Baugher-Gilliland, age 74, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born on January 23, 1950 to the late Loy Maxine and Mary Adeline Vinson-Baugher.

She was a 1968 graduate of the Sikeston Senior High School in Sikeston, MO.

Myra had been the assistant office administrator for over thirty years with the Ferguson Medical Group and eighteen years the branch office manager with Edward Jones in Sikeston, MO until her death.

She was an avid reader, loved painting with watercolors, gardening and was quite a dog lover.

Myra was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, MO.

Survivors include her two daughters; Kim Gilliland of Sikeston, MO and Kris (Stuart) Eddleston of Imperial, MO, a niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, John Thaddus and Mary Alla Vinson; two brothers: Loy Mac Baugher and John Frederick "Freddie" Baugher and one sister, Dawn Suzanne Kobiske

A memorial service will be Wednesday, January 8, visitation noon to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO.

Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
