Ramonia Loretta "Mona" Tindle, age 72, passed away April 12, 2022 at her home in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born May 13, 1949 in Portageville, Missouri, daughter of the late David W. Matthews and Pairly Mae Pendergraft Matthews.

Mona was a dedicated animal lover and loved shopping. She worked 19 years as an associate for Walmart before retiring, she later retired a second time after working at a nursing home.

On September 2, 1972 in Lilbourn, Missouri, she married Jerry Lee Tindle, he survives of the home.

She is also survived by one brother, Daniel D. Mattews of Texas; three sisters, Billy Sue (Jack) Ray of Blytheville, Arkansas, Donna W. (Randy) Jenkins of Sikeston, Missouri, and Angelian Faith (Larry) Saffer of Park City, Kentucky; and Jerry's siblings, Raymond, Sue, Lois, Tootie, and T.D.

In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by one brother, Harold W. Mathis; and one sister, Emma Jean Wheeler.

There will be a visitation held Friday, April 15, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Mounds Park Cemetery near New Madrid, Missouri.
