Michael Jones, age 53, passed away at his home in Sikeston, Missouri surrounded by family and friends on April 30, 2022.

Michael was born March 11, 1969 in Melbourne, Florida to the late Dolores Ann Jones.  He worked as a forklift driver for the Dewitt Company.

Michael married Leslie Jones of Sikeston on December 7, 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie of the home; two sons, Zackary Weed and Leo McCormick of East Prairie, Missouri; a stepson, Jay Gunter of Sikeston; two daughters, Brooke Pope of Kansas and Michaela Sharp of Dexter, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Candace Vinson of Sikeston; and two grandchildren of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother and uncle, Ben Jones.

No services are scheduled, Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
