Michael Bruce Brown, age 58, of East Prairie Missouri passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born July 19, 1964, in Charleston, Missouri to Shirley Ruth Brown-Fann who survives of East Prairie.  He was a 1982 graduate of East Prairie High School and was later employed as a monitor for the Baptist Children's Home in East Prairie.  He was of Methodist belief.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, having a deep love for his nieces and nephews.  He loved horseback riding and was an avid sports and music lover.  He also loved animals, especially his precious dog, Aubi.  Michael had served as a member of Puxico Senior Housing Board and loved fine dining.

Michael is survived by his mother Shirley and stepfather, Charles Wayne Fann of East Prairie; one sister, Robin Pastori (Stacy Linhart) of Dexter, Missouri; nephew, Kyle (Ashley) Jackson of East Prairie and their children, Alex, Zaiden, Kaizen and Kyleah; uncle, Jearl Brown of Dexter; nieces and nephew, Amanda Beth, Jeremy, Arienne, Poppy Jane, Willow and Lylah; stepbrother, Adam (Michelle) Fann of Dallas, Texas, and their children, Jenn and Dylan; other extended family members and many friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Junior Brown and Onieta Brown.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, beginning at 5 pm until 8 pm at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Martin Lucas officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Conyers, Jimmy Stephens, Fieldin LaPlant, Tim Wagner, Jeff Byrge and Shawn McWilliams.
