Melissa Kaye McWhirter, age 50, passed away September 2, 2025 at her home in Crowder, MO.

She was born March 16, 1975 in Charleston, MO, daughter of the late Arnold McWhirter and Deborah Harden-McWhirter.

Melissa's favorite thing was spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, country life, and fishing.

She is survived by her significant other, John McWhirter; one son, Michael Ray McWhirter; one daughter, Tiffany Renea (Kevin) Jordan II; one brother, Kevin Ray McWhirter; two sisters, Nikki Graves and Christy McWhirter; and five grandchildren, luna, Neveah, Charlotte, Thyri, and Dawsey.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
