Obituary

Mary Louise Loveless, age 87, passed away July 2, 2021, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born November 19, 1933 in Bell City, Missouri, daughter of the late William Hoots and Effie Emaline Berkhart Hoots.

Mary was a member of Garden Ridge Church and had been a self-employed restaurant owner before retiring.

On June 5, 1949 she married George Quinton Loveless, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, George Ray (Teresa) Loveless of Essex, Missouri and Mike (Diane) Loveless of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Patsy (Clayton) Pagels of Colmesneil, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special friend, Sue King Brown.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Haskell Hoots, Red Hoots, Buddy Hoots, and Micky Hoots; three sisters, Isabell Elsperman, Shirley Callow, and Betty Hovis; and one grandchild, Tony Ritchie.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 6, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Rev. Marvin Graham will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Jared Loveless, Derek Loveless, Austin Loveless, Brian Williams, Don Holt, and Terry Long.
