On March 15, 2024, Mary Ruth Cooper entered her Heavenly home while surrounded by her loving family.  Born July 14,  1941, near Pinhook, Missouri, to the late Hershel Oatsvall and Audrey Shannon Oatsvall, Mary lived most of her life in East Prairie where she worked several jobs, including working at the Bertrand Nursing Center as a med tech for 17 years.  She was of the Christian faith and knew her Lord and Savior.  On July 3, 1965, she married Larry Dale Cooper, who preceded her in death August 17, 2016.

She is survived by her only child, Randy Oatsvall (Talicha Stephens) of Wyatt, Missouri; two sisters, Barbara Ann Burns of Fancy Farm, Kentucky and Victoria Lynn (Martin) Hutcheson of East Prairie, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Oatsvall and Janet Oatsvall of East Prairie; three grandkids, Sam Oatsvall of Wyatt, Missouri, Marylea (Dustin) Anderson of Grand Chain, Illinois, and Katie Oatsvall (William Jackson, Jr.) of East Prairie; six great grandkids, Cooper, Jaylea, Brady, Alivia, Reagan, and Liberty Grace; and one great-great grandson, Slayden Wyatt; one very special aunt, Helen Johnson of East Prairie; and a host of many friends and family.

Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers,  Kenneth Ray Oatsvall and Bobby Gene Oatsvall.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
