Mary Anne Johnson passed from this life on March 20, 2026, at her home in Dogwood, Missouri. She was born on June 2, 1957, to the late George and Ruby Bain. On April 27, 1973, she married the love of her life, Charles Johnson, Jr., and together they built a beautiful life over 52 devoted years.

Mary Anne had a gift for making the ordinary extraordinary. As a talented seamstress, she poured love into everything she created. She found joy in her flower beds, where her hands brought beauty to life, and she took pride in decorating her yard, making it a place of warmth and welcome. Her bright red Mustang was more than just a car-it was a reflection of her personality.

Above all, Mary Anne's greatest joy was her family. She was the heart of her home-a loving and gentle wife, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will live on in all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughters, Elizabeth "Bo" Bryant (Jason) and Angela Manning (Justin Parker); her beloved grandchildren, Clay Bryant, Katie Manning, McKenna Bryant, Will Bryant, and Charley Parker; her precious great-granddaughter, Ava Bryant; her special fur-son, Rascal; her mother-in-law, Mary Morris; and her sisters, Sharon Cobb and Marilyn Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George "Buddy" Bain.

Visitation will be held at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie on Tuesday, March 24 at 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Mike Cartwright officiating.

Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bryant, Justin Parker, Clay Bryant, Scott Brawner, Shawn Midkiff, and David Slayden.
