Martha Ann Pierce, age 85, passed away December 7, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born February 15, 1940 in New Madrid near Henderson Mounds, MO, daughter of the late Cletus Ditto and Sylvia Pauline Givens-Ditto.

Martha had worked for Video 1 Tanning and enjoyed playing Solitaire. She loved cooking, the 4th of July, fishing, and going camping. Her family and grandkids were so important to her.

She was married to Louis Allen "Buck" Pierce who preceded her in death November 8, 2017.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Allen (Nicole) Pierce and Brian Allen (Joyce) Pierce; one brother, Wayne Ditto; three sisters, Debbie Ditto (Bob) Robbins, Francis Pritchett, Glenda Jones, and Frida Bral; six grandchildren, Beth Ann (Thomas) McDonnold, Ashley (Seth) Littrell, Brandie (Nick) Pierce, Mikey (Harley) Daniels, Krista Pierce, and Everett Pierce; 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Ditto, Gary Ditto, and Billy Ditto; one sister, Ellen Banks; and one brother-in-law, Phil Bral.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. Bro Dennis will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, MO.

Pallbearers will be Richard Pierce, Nick Castro, Thomas McDonnold, Seth Littrell, Mikey Daniels, and Tony McDonnold.
