Lori Ann Adams, age 57, passed away March 11, 2024 at her home in Sikeston, MO.

She was born February 9, 1967 in Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter of the late Dennis Dalton Adams and Mary Helen Weeks Adams.

Lori went to church at The Compassion Church, had worked in Food Service, and was a caretaker for CMV.  She was the best grandmother and an amazing cook.  She cherished her sons and loved her dogs, especially Payton.

She is survived by her son, Cory Bess, her daughter-in-law, Victoria Bess,  and her son, Channing Bess all of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Jerry Lynn Adams of Boise, ID; one sister, Saundra Steward of Dexter, MO; and three grandchildren, Lexie, Lawson, and Lane.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis 'Butch' Adams Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. Frank Worthington will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn, MO.

Pallbearers will be David Baker, Josh Plunk, Ricky Huff, Nick Rhodes, Greg Weeks, and Mark Green.
