Lorene McConnaughhay, 98, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord on Sunday March 17th, 2024.

Lorene was born on February 14th, 1926 to Frank and Tennie Sullivan in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Lorene married the love of her life, Charles Dee McConnaughhay on September 10th, 1950 in Clarkwood, Texas.

She is survived by her 3 loving children; Geri Sullivan, Charles McConnaughhay and wife Leca, Ben McConnaughhay and wife Shelly. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren; Joseph Wright, Nicole Evans and Ashley Bankard and husband Adam and a special grandson; Royston Wilson and wife Rose. She was greatly blessed to have 6 great grandchildren; Morgan, Dylan and Taylor Wright, Ryleigh and Kennedie Bankard and Kaitlyn Evans.

Predeceased by her husband, parents, grandson Joseph, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters; Lorene's memory will be cherished and kept alive by all those who loved her.

Lorene dedicated her life to God and her church . She will always be remember for her willingness to share the gospel. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. We look forward to the day we will be reunited in Heaven.

Graveside service will be held at Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri on Friday, March 22nd at 12:45 p.m. under the direction of Ponder Funeral Home.
